Medical travel to India
World-class treatment in India, handled with care.
An independent guide to India’s accredited hospitals — and one case manager who stays with you from the first report to the flight home.
What brings you to India?
“Travelling for treatment is hard enough. Everything around it should be calm, clear and honest.”
Verified, not listed
Every accreditation we show links to its source and carries the date we checked it. If we cannot evidence it, we do not show it.
Current, not copied
Visa and legal rules come straight from the Government of India source, dated — not repeated from another website.
One case manager
Reports, hospital opinions, estimates, visa letter, airport, stay and interpreter — one person, start to finish, in your language.
Specialist care, carefully matched
We match your case to accredited hospitals with the right specialists — and tell you plainly what the law allows.

Cardiac Care
Bypass, valve repair and replacement, angioplasty and paediatric heart surgery at accredited cardiac centres.

Orthopaedics & Joint Replacement
Knee and hip replacement, spine surgery, sports injuries and the physiotherapy that makes them work.

Cancer Care
Surgical, medical and radiation oncology, including proton therapy and bone marrow transplant at specialist centres.

Organ Transplant
Liver and kidney transplant with a related donor, under India’s transplant law, at authorised centres.

Fertility & IVF
IVF, ICSI and fertility preservation at regulated clinics — with the legal limits stated up front.
Conditions & treatment journeys
Each journey shows the shape of the trip, stage by stage — the way an itinerary shows a journey day by day.
Independent guidance.
Personal case management.
IndiaMedica helps international patients get treatment in India. We review your medical reports for free, share them with suitable NABH- and JCI-accredited hospitals, and bring back treatment opinions and written estimates so you can compare before you decide.
Once you choose, one case manager arranges the hospital’s visa invitation letter, your e-Medical and attendant visas, airport pickup, a stay near the hospital, an interpreter if you need one, and follow-up with your doctors after you go home.
We are open about how we are paid: hospitals pay us a referral fee. It never changes your price and it never decides which hospital we suggest. Read how we work.
Six things we do differently
Independent first
We compare opinions from more than one accredited hospital, and we will tell you if a hospital we do not work with is the better choice.
Verified, dated badges
Every NABH or JCI badge links to where we checked it and when. A badge older than a year disappears until it is re-checked.
Honest about money
Hospitals pay us a referral fee; we say so. Estimates come from the hospitals themselves, in writing, with what is and is not included.
One person, start to finish
A named case manager handles reports, visa letters, airport, stay and interpreter — and stays reachable after you go home.
Hospitality in our blood
Our founder runs Elevated India, a private luxury travel house. Arrival, comfort and care for the family are what we do every day.
Inside the law
No donor sourcing, no surrogacy for foreign nationals, no cure claims. India’s rules exist for good reasons, and we keep them.
Seven steps, one person beside you

Where in India — and why
Each city has different strengths, flight links, languages and costs of living for the family who travels with you.

Delhi NCR
The capital region — Delhi and Gurugram — with the largest concentration of multi-specialty and JCI-accredited hospitals in North India.

Mumbai
India’s financial capital, with long-established private hospitals and specialist centres.

Chennai
Often called India’s health capital — a long history of receiving international patients, with specialist eye, cancer and cardiac centres.

Bengaluru
A temperate city with large hospital groups — a comfortable place to recover.

Hyderabad
Large modern hospitals, specialist gastroenterology and transplant centres, and a good-value cost of living.

Kolkata
The nearest major hub for patients from Bangladesh, with a shared language and land-border access.

Ahmedabad
A growing hub in Gujarat with modern multi-specialty hospitals and direct Gulf and East Africa links.

Jaipur
Rajasthan’s capital — modern multi-specialty hospitals in a calmer city, with heritage hotels for recovery.
The people behind your case
Your case manager is introduced to you by name, with a photograph, the day your case opens — and stays with you until you are home. We do not put stock faces on this page or invent a team we have not yet introduced.

Most websites still show the old rules
According to the official Indian e-Visa portal, the e-Medical visa is valid for one year (365 days) from arrival, with multiple entries, and up to two e-Medical Attendant visas can be granted per patient. You apply at least 4 days and up to 120 days before arrival, with a letter from the Indian hospital.

Is the case review really free?
Yes. Reviewing your reports, sharing them with suitable hospitals and returning their written opinions and estimates costs you nothing and puts you under no obligation. You pay the hospital directly for treatment.
How is IndiaMedica paid?
Partner hospitals pay us a referral fee when a patient we introduce is treated. It never changes the price you pay and never decides which hospital we suggest. Optional services such as accommodation or interpreters are quoted in writing first.
Which visa do I need?
Most patients travel on India’s e-Medical visa, which the official portal states is valid for 365 days from arrival with multiple entries. Up to two attendants can travel on e-Medical Attendant visas. Our visa guide links the government source.
Can you guarantee a result?
No — and nobody honestly can. We help you reach accredited specialists, understand their advice and compare options. Every clinical decision belongs to your treating doctors.
Can you find an organ donor for me?
No. Under India’s transplant rules a foreign patient must travel with a near-relative donor whose relationship is certified by their embassy. We never source or introduce donors.
Do you offer surrogacy?
No. Commercial surrogacy is banned in India and foreign nationals are not eligible for surrogacy. We do help with IVF at registered clinics.
What happens to my medical reports?
They are shared only with hospitals you agree to, only to obtain opinions and estimates, and deleted when you ask. We handle personal data under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act.
Send us your reports. We’ll do the rest.
A case manager reviews your reports, shares them with suitable accredited hospitals and comes back with treatment options, the specialists involved and written estimates — free, with no obligation.
