Who pays IndiaMedica?

Partner hospitals do. A referral fee is paid when a patient IndiaMedica introduces is treated. Patients do not pay for the case review, the hospital opinions or the estimates.

Does the fee change what you pay?

No. IndiaMedica states that the fee never changes the price you pay the hospital. The estimate you receive is the hospital’s own. The final bill depends on your treatment and recovery.

Why disclose the fee at all?

So you can judge how your advisers are paid. IndiaMedica tells every patient about the fee. It says it will suggest a hospital it does not work with if that hospital is the better choice for the case. Hospitals cannot pay to be listed or to move higher on the site.

What do you pay for?

  • Treatment, paid directly to the hospital
  • Optional accommodation, if you ask IndiaMedica to arrange it
  • Optional interpreters and airport transfers
  • Optional recovery stays
